So, I have created this blog post from removing some discussion from The Discussion section of the Etiquette article in the interest of creating a better forum for discussion of this particular topic.

Here's the way I see it: I do not think there should be an easter egg list created by Ohai, like the user mentions below, "Easter eggs are meant to be found, so announcing them is kind of ruining the fun of easter eggs" Concerning The official request topic below: I think that is an interesting idea, but would not like to see Ohai implement it. While bug reporting etc. is important to Ohai, I think that their priority is to game-play and trying to get as many users as possible. A window like the one described in the forum post might serve to confuse people instead of educating them. I say this under the assumption that the majority of players and particularly new players will have very little technical knowledge, and should be expected to just play.

This is a forum meant for discussing your viewpoints, please feel free to tell me I'm an idot and have no idea what I'm talking about, but keep it clean and respect the other users who post and their opinions!

Easter eggs are good.

Ohai's statement about hidden features in the game or not really is missing.

What better strategy can a game manufacturer have, than supplying treasures to the ones who search? Admitting just the possibility of those features would render a bigger part of the discussion of bug exploits unnecessary and massively increase the attraction of the game itself. posting by a seperate user

(Easter eggs are meant to be found, so announcing them is kind of ruining the fun of easter eggs IMO). Also the Ohai info policy section jane wrote I totally agree with, they should now provide a list of exploits and make every player aware when they log on that they should check the forum for them, provide a system notice chat url or something. So that no one can really be "innocent" if its posted on the exploits section of the forum etc. -Anonymous user

Official request to clear situation made

See this forum entry, please. Please second this - if it appeals to you - by replying to my post saying "i second this request."
